Memorial Day is very important to our country. We are so honored and grateful to have men and women serve our country. Memorial Day is celebrated to honor and remember all of the men and women who died fighting for our country and our freedom! Let’s not get confused though with Veterans’ Day. Veteran’s Day is for honoring men and women who have served in the US armed forces.

Did you know, that it is always celebrated on the last Monday of May and was started after the Civil War (1861-1865)

Flying flags half-staff, placing flowers, and attending parades is a great way to remember the soldiers that have lost their lives.
