Crawl spaces are a place you don’t typically want to go into often. So, it’s safe to say that the amount of time you check out your crawl space is slim to none. And for a property management company, with no tenants living in the house, it can tend to be more of a risky asset. Good tip for property managers, try to fill vacancy in the winter months, so someone is consistently checking the home, ensuring everything is running smoothly. Wisconsin winters can really be tragic and tough.

This photo is a crawl space which got bogged down by a water line busting. Receiving the call after-hours, SERVPRO of South Kenosha County, was on their way to help! For this property, the call came in from another state requesting help for a property located in Silver Lake. As it gets later in the day, they knew that the weather was supposed to get to freezing temperatures, so they knew they needed to act fast. They called us in to extract the water for the night and come back in the morning to continue to mitigate.
